Almonds can ground, planed or is chopped and one uses them mainly for bakery products, sweets or to the Christmas-bakery. However, they are also an outstanding Snack.
Brazil Nuts come from South America (Brazil, Peru or Bolivia), is air-dried and natural. Brazil Nut-trees grow wildly in South America's tropical rain-forest. At each tree, 300 and more spherical capsule-fruits ripen, in whose insides the Brazil Nuts are. The capsules become until to 2.5 kg heavily and can reach a diameter of 15 cm. Each capsule contains 12 to 25 Brazil Nuts. The ripe capsules fall from this to 50 meters high trees and are picked up from collectors. Brazil Nuts distinguish themselves through their high content at nutrients. 100 g Brazil Nuts contain about 14 g very high-quality protein and 67 g fat (25 g are unsatisfied fatty acids from it!). They possess a very high share of important minerals (above all potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, zinc and selen) and vitamins furthermore. Brazil Nuts can therefore replace a meat-containing meal easily.
The cashew nuts come from India and Africa on the market, the kidney-shaped, delicately aromatic fruit has a high content at magnesium and vitamin B1, high-quality proteins and can lower even the cholesterol-level with moderate consumption.
Hazelnuts can ground, planed or is chopped and one uses them mainly for bakery products, sweets or to the Christmas-bakery. But also in cakes or fruit-salads and as snack at intervals tastes hazelnuts very well.
Our pine-seeds come from Pakistan's high-regions and are harvested by hand, gentle to the air-dried and hand-picked. They are submitted to no further extenuation or preservation and already bring their full taste as nibbling roughly or toasted to green salads to the validity. However, they can be used also for refining sweets and casseroles.
