Advantages of the product:
Cooked chickpeas easily taste nuttily. They can be roasted in an oiled frying pan like nuts. As a side dish, but also as a puree, for soups, stews, crowds and salads.
Chickpeas come originally from the Near East. They are yellowish to light reddish, a little greater than customary peas and own a square, irregular form.
From cooked and mashed chickpeas, ground sesame seeds, water, lemon juice, garlic, oil and mint a speciality with the name "Hummus" is prepared in front East.
Preparation: Basic prescription: Chickpeas soak (2-3 h), soaking waters pour away, afterwards in the 3-fold amount of water approx. 1 hrs allow to simmer.
